Painting and camping and traveling ON THE ROAD

My Subaru Forester was an excellent vehicle to take me wherever I wanted to go. It accommodated a library, held my swag and tent, vehicle maintenance box, my acrylic paints, loads of water, some food and wine and a big role of primed canvas that I would cut to size and roll up with fresh paintings in the one bundle.

  1. Wonderful journey, Noni – your photos and painting take me back down beautiful memory lane. Do you have any paintings from Kalumburu or the Kimberleys by any chance?
Lots of love from Andrea (your German friend from long long ago) – letter to follow

    1. I look forward to reading your letter Andrea. I have only 1 painting from Kalumburu area. That is the one called ‘Watering Place’. I camped in the Keep River National Park not far from Kununurra. When I have your address I can send a lino cut I made about Kalumburu country.
